About Mike

Mike Helbringer was hired as the President/CEO of The Bristol Home in Buffalo, NY in 1997. In 1999, he began the development of a new Assisted Living Community in Clarence Center, NY. In November 2003, a new, state-of-the-art facility, Bristol Village, opened up on Clarence Center Road and remains the only free-standing, not-for-profit Assisted Living Residence in WNY.

Mike is also a licensed Nursing Home Administrator, received his BS and MBA from the University at Buffalo, and served in the US Army Reserve from 1988-1996.

Mike enjoys golf, swimming and reading in his spare time, he lives in Clarence Center with his wife Debbie and has two children, Robby and Sarah.

About Bob

Bob was hired as a Case Manager and Assistant Administrator for Bristol Village in 2008.

Bob received his BA in Communications from Buffalo State College and has 30 years communications experience by way of radio broadcasting and 25 years teaching experience.

Bob lives in Tonawanda with his wife Jennifer and has two sons, Carson and Dalton. Bob enjoys golfing and watching all sports.

About Kathleen

Kathleen was hired as a Case Manager for Bristol Village in 2010.

Kathleen received her BS in Human Services from Hilbert College. Kathleen has over 15 years prior experience in Long Term Care Settings as a Personal Care, Medication Technician, Social Worker, Admissions Coordinator, and Case Worker.

Kathleen lives in Williamsville with her husband, 3 children, and 1 dog. She loves all animals, but especially dogs and a couple special hippos at the Cincinnati Zoo. She enjoys scrapbooking, watching sports, and spending time outdoors with her family.

About Shelly

Shelly was initially hired in 2007 as a Personal Care Aide at Bristol Village. Over her tenure at Bristol Village Shelly has also served as an LPN, Memory Care Unit Coordinator and has been the Director of Health Services since 2019.

Shelly attended the LPN Program at ERIE1BOCES and received her Nursing License. She has previous experience as a PCA, HHA, Nursing Assistant, and the privilege of delivering medications for patients of Hospice who received end-of-life care in their homes.

Shelly is a mother and a grandmother and loves to spend time with her family. She loves pets and nature. She is a peaceful, private person and gains joy and satisfaction from helping others.

About Beth

Beth was hired as Activities Director and Volunteer Coordinator for The Bristol Home and Bristol Village in 2010.

Beth has a BS in Design and her Activities Director Certification. Beth has prior experience as an Activities Leader and Memory Care Coordinator in a Long-Term Care Setting.

Beth lives in Eden and has two sons, Joshua and Daniel. She is a published author who enjoys gardening, photography, DIY projects, and oil painting.

About Rosemary

Rosemary was hired as a Receptionist at Bristol Village in 2018 and was promoted to Human Resource Manager in 2019.

Rosemary received a Regents Diploma from Mount Saint Mary Academy. She has prior experience in both customer service and management. She spent her childhood years volunteering with the elderly.

Rosemary lives in Getzville with her husband, Matt. She enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with the people closest to her.

About Jeff

Jeff Bernacki was hired as Controller for The Bristol Home and Bristol Village in 2018. Jeff received his BS in Accounting from the University of Buffalo and has 14 years prior experience as a Director of Operations & Finance for a non-profit and Assistant Regional Controller in the Banking Industry.

Jeff lives in Buffalo and has 2 daughters Leah who is a medical student and Veronica who is an art teacher.

In Jeff’s spare time, he enjoys volunteering, golfing, and spending time remodeling and restoring his 100-year-old house.

About Mike

Mike was hired as the Director of Facilities for Bristol Village in March of 2024.

Mike received his AAS in Business Administration from Erie Community College and holds multiple certifications from the National Center for Housing Management.

With a background that also includes finance, carpentry, and pest control, Mike brings nearly 30 years of operations and property management experience to the role.

Mike lives in Kenmore with his wife Trisha, and together they have three adult children. Mike enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and watching sports.

About Lamin

Lamin was hired as Director of Dining Services in January 2026.

Lamin received his diploma from Sarah J Hale High School in Brooklyn, NY. He has over 40 years of culinary experience in various kitchen atmospheres including numerous restaurants and colleges.

Lamin lives in Williamsville with his wife, Christine. He is the proud father of four children – three daughters and one son – and a grandfather to four grandchildren. Beyond his culinary career, he has a deep appreciation for the arts, as well as a strong interest in world history, philosophy, and psychology.

About Cody

Cody was hired as Assistant Director of Dining Services in January 2026.

Cody received his BS in Finance from Canisius College. He has 6 years of professional experience managing a restaurant, complemented by another six years in finance.

Cody lives in Elma with his wife and two young sons, who bring energy and joy to his everyday life. He is also deeply passionate about music, regularly performing live and recording when possible.
